Now that the NAW has come to an end, there has been an immense amount of useful information that has been delivered to us all. I thought it would be great to finish off this week by summarising the reasons why I love apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships are a great way to jump into both the working and university world I will tell you why below:

Experience:

I love that I get to work in the industry and that I’m able to work on exciting projects that are having a real impact on people’s lives. I also get to learn from people who are well experienced.

Degree:

I love the fact that I get a BEng Honours degree.

Salary and Benefits:

I love the fact that I am paid a competitive salary with benefits, this has also made me financially independent.

Tuition Fees:

I love the fact that I will not have any student debt from my degree.

Professional Training:

I love the fact that I get professional training from work that is usually only provided on a graduate scheme and that I also have access to other training courses with the appropriate institutions.

Networking:

I love the fact that I get to meet varied people in the industry.

I hope if you do choose to do an apprenticeship you will love and enjoy every part of it!
