I’m in the middle of exam season, so I’m going to take this blog as an opportunity to write about something that makes me immensely happy to help me relax! There are many things in this world that make me immensely happy: my family and friends, going for walks, and of course, the colour pink! Don’t you worry! I’m not going to be writing a whole blog about the colour pink, as I know there are some of you out there who detest that colour (in which case I firmly suggest that you block me on Snapchat right now)! So, I decided I would write this blog about a fourth thing that I love. Another thing that I absolutely love is clothes shopping! So here is my top 5 list of outfits I suggest that you bring with yourselves to university!

  • Outfits that look perfectly great to wear without ironing!

I made quite a few aims for my morning routine when I was joining university: I will do yoga every morning, I will have an extremely healthy breakfast every morning, I will study in the library every morning and I will be fully ready for the day early in the morning! I can confirm that I was not able to fulfil either of these aims to their fullest extent! There were indeed days where I was running extremely late for my lectures, in which case I was able to use my outfits that didn’t need ironing due to their material! Perfect for days if you don’t have time to iron, or if you can’t quite find the motivation to iron!

  • Outfits that bring you joy!

As fun as university is, there are some days where you’re just not feeling it! And that’s absolutely fine! In order to find some motivation to get on with your day, knowing that you’ll be wearing an outfit that makes you happy can really help! For me, these “happy outfits” are anything pink or purple of course!

  • Outfits for the “in between weather”

When it’s warm, you wear t-shirts. When it’s cold, you wear a hoodie. What will you wear when it’s neither cold nor warm? I suggest bringing a long-sleeved top that you can wear under your t-shirts! You won’t be in fleece, but you won’t be in just a single t-shirt either!

  1. Outfits that are comfortable!

We’ve all been through it! Have a lecture 9am in the morning but went to sleep at 4am (Disclaimer: I am not endorsing this dangerous behaviour, do proceed with caution)! Surely, you’d want to do yourself a favour and wear a really comfortable outfit! These comfortable outfits are also perfect for lounge wear for when you want to be relaxed, but still look presentable! Finally, comfortable shoes are a must for when you’re walking around campus!

  • Outfits that make you confident!

I can give you all the clothing advice in the world, but at the end of the day, you need to wear what makes YOU feel confident, and what makes YOU feel really good about yourself!
