Week 1, Summer Time
The final week of term felt like I was reliving my freshers week. It was so much fun, relaxing, going out, reflecting on the year with my new friends. Honestly, it’s incredible to see how much you can grow in such a small amount of time.
Now I’m back at home and I can finally catch up with all of my friends and family. That’s when you realise how much growth you have made. When you tall about all the things you have achieved! Speaking of achievements, I got a 2.1 this year! Considering that this is my first year, and how difficult and different it is at university, I am content with my result. Of course, I could have worked alot harder, but I can honestly look back on my first year and say I had an incredible year. The next two years are going to be difficult, and I am ready for the challenge. I have already recieved my reading for next year, which highlights how intense next year will be in comparison to my first year. But this is what I signed up for, the challange!
Next week my URSS project begins! I’m so excited to be conducting my research and project in London! I am nervous, I’ve never been involved in something like this, but it will be a great achievement once I complete it.
Enjoy the summer, spend time with your friends and family. It’ll be weird adapting back into home life, but it’s refreshing to see a change in yourself and your life at home.
