The Amazing Psychology Breakfast

Welcome to the Uni of Warwick to all of you first year students, especially those who are studying Psychology! I hope you had a great first week of Uni and you are settling in well, whilst recovering from all the fun freshers events. If you are a first year Psychology student, then you would have come to the welcome breakfast that was held on Monday in week 1. I was there helping out and talking to you guys about any worries you may have whilst giving the best advice I could. I do wonder if any of you possibly recognised me from my blogger profile picture… if you did then please let me know. Also, if you see me around campus and would like to ask any psychology related questions, then definitely feel free – no matter how moody and tired I look, I can promise that I’ll be happy to help! Remember you can also leave questions in the comments below, or you can email me at A.Sarai@warwick.ac.uk if you would like to ask something and get a direct response. I remember being a super stressed out fresher because I was so confused about this Uni way of studying and was so overwhelmed, so I can relate to any issues you may have – don’t suffer in silence!

Anyways, I’ll insert some pictures of the fab psychology welcome breakfast that was held for you guys incase any other students are interested and would like to see! I’m not going to lie, but the breakfast that you all had was way better than ours last year, so count yourselves lucky haha.

I hope you guys took advantage of the food because I know that I certainly did. It was really nice to see you all chatting and starting to make friends – definitely keep socialising because you’ll need course mates to keep you going through all of your assignments and exams. If you didn’t get a chance to speak to me during the breakfast, then I’ll let you know that I was telling the others how I actually met my current Uni bestie at the psychology breakfast when we were first years! Our friendship has carried on since then so it’s great – I would recommend finding out who does psychology in your accommodation or near yours because then you guys can walk to lectures together and get close. Either way, if you haven’t found any friends yet then don’t worry at all because its still super early and you have all year to meet people.

I hope you all enjoy the next few weeks of first term, have the most fun you can before you start getting assignments!

xoxo
