Success, Summer and Sun: what the next six weeks has in store for me.

After three long, hard years, I have FINALLY finished my degree in Psychology! I received my final mark on Wednesday. At the time, I was so indifferent – I didn’t care, as long as I hadn’t failed. However, I averaged at a 2:1. It has taken a couple of days for this to sink in. Now, I am so proud of myself. 

During my third year, I struggled with both my physical and mental health. I was overloaded with work and volunteering. By the time I reached exams, I had been certain that all this stress would bite back. And it did. However, I still pulled through and did well. Not only that; I also received a reward for my contribution to my department (and there is £50 prize money!).

The plan, for now, is to soak up the summer sun. This is until Monday. Then, I start my Warwick Summer Internship as a research intern, which will continue for the next six weeks. I graduate in mid-July and get my award and degree certificate. I am super excited for what the summer has in store for me!
