Snapshots of Warwick #6
This week the new Teaching and Learning Building, or The Oculus, was open for use by students for the first time, and it is incredible. I was blown away by how light and spacious it felt, and the rooms and lecture theatres are as state of the art as you would expect from a £19million building! Its called The Oculus, which means ‘eye’ in Latin, because of the shape of the roof, and has been developed to be interdisciplinary as all departments in the university can use the facilities. With plenty of study spaces, as well as a cafe, I think I’ll be spending a lot more of my time here!
My new favourite place to study!
There’s plenty of art…
… As well as huge windows …
… So you can admire campus as you work!
