Rating my Favourite Revision Locations On and Off Campus

On Campus

• University House: 9/10

This is my FAVOURITE place to study on Campus. I love the working environment – it’s both quiet and sociable, so you don’t feel guilty for bringing a series of loud study snacks! There’s bigger tables for group work, desks with computers and those without, printing facilities and my personal fav addition – the Costa Coffee.

• The Library: 8/10

I love the fact that the Library has floors where you can talk and socialise and silent floors too. If I am in need of a good study session, there is no better feeling than getting to Campus early and securing a seat on the top floor. And you have the added bonus of easy access to all the Library books!

• Curiositea: 8/10

This is one for those more chilled study sessions with your pals. Think Friday afternoons when your brain is overloaded from the week and you need a hot chocolate with extra cream and marshmallows to get everything done. It’s super adorable inside and the drinks are beyond luxurious!

Off Campus

• Esquires Coffee Shop: 9/10

I love Esquires for studying! Not only do they do amazing coffee, but it’s a great study environment. It’s light and bright which is key to concentration and their WIFI is pretty decent – what a bonus!

• Coffee #1: 8/10

Me and the girls joke about this one, because this is where we spent 90% of our lives whilst revising for our second-year exams. I’m pretty sure, between the lot of us, we worked our way through their entire panini collection – so just drop us a line if you’re in need of filling recommendations!

• Jephson Gardens: 7/10

Ok, if you’re able to tolerate not really being able to see your laptop screen, being bitten by bugs you didn’t even realise existed, and being blinded by the sheer whiteness of your paper – then it’s a GREAT shout! On a more serious note, this is great if you want to soak up the sun and relax whilst maintaining some form of productivity. Nothing like revising and sunbathing all at once!
