Random Acts of Kindness
Halls is awesome. I have discussed this numerous times and I will soon be writing about my experiences in halls specifically so I won’t go into much detail on that here. However, something I would like to share with you is the “Random Acts of Kindness” week which took place last week in halls. This is one of my favourite events in halls so far! So, whoever wants to is able to sign up before the week. A day before the week commences, we all received a piece of paper under our doors with the name of our chosen person — i.e. the person we perform random acts of kindness to throughout the week.
You can decide whether you want to be anonymous and it honestly is just so lovely seeing the thought people put into their gifts. Initially, I decided that I wanted to remain anonymous to my “kindee”, however the sorts of things that I did gave me away (the origami I made for them is the same as the ones on my front door). Nevertheless, I had so much fun during the week.
I still don’t know whose kindee I was, so if you are reading this I just want to say a massive thank you – you really made my year in Australia let alone my week. Thank you for being such a kind-hearted person, I appreciate it tons!
Here are some of the things I received during the week:
Love you Richo <3
