Ciao a tutti! My name is Ginevra (though I had to stylise it to Ginnie when I first moved to the UK, as nobody could pronounce it) and I'm on my second year here at Warwick after moving from my native country, Italy, as you may guess judging from my overly bubbly personality. The course I'm currently undertaking is my beloved Language, Culture and Communication with Intercalated Year, which has given me the opportunity to try to learn a new language as challenging as Chinese and expand my knowledge on multiple areas of interest, other than allowing me to think of my future in a stimulating, international context with the Intercalated Year programme. Being at Warwick also means having the opportunity to develop my personality through many activities and societies and spending time enjoying my hobbies (taking part of an incredible student-written theatre play is one of them), when I'm not busy writing essays, fighting over Chinese grammar and challenging Italian-people-living-abroad stereotypes. I remember being a prospective student when I got the offer and reading avidly any blog I could find on this platform, so I am more than happy to share my experiences and possibly inspire anyone out there through it! Please feel free to contact me if you have any query on any aspect of uni life.
