Even if I have not yet finished my exams(14th of June, please come faster!) I wanted to write this post regarding my plans after exams are over. For 1st and final year students: this weekend 9th-11th June in Coventry there is a food and drink festival! It will take place on the Broadgate site and there will be a free entry. Hence, if you have no idea what to do with your life after exams, this would be a great excuse to get out of the house and enjoy some amazing fresh food.
Some other events happening in Coventry this month, before everyone returns home are: Robbie Williams concert at Ricoh Arena (13th June), Big Comfy Book Shop: Retro Games Night (15th June), Warwick Summer Festival at Coventry Cathedral (17th June) and the Fargo Village Sausage and Cider Mini Festival (17th June), Warwick Fringe Festival (23rd June). Another important date to remember is the 14th of June, the last “Are you ok?”, dedicated to supporting, guidance and events around mental health. Everyone is invited to be more open about mental health and wellbeing, promoting dialogue between friends and acknowledging when things are tough so that we can help each other to feel well again. You should also consider visiting on the 13th June the Sugar Shack event at The Graduate, 12pm-3pm (https://www.facebook.com/events/13183***** *** ***/), where you can take a break from your work on Wednesday Week 8 and indulge in FREE mega dust, rosy apples, chewy cherry bonbons, double dips, mega lollies, sherbert belts, bubblegum pencils and more! (Sugar-free sweets will also be available).

I will return to Romania on the 19th of June, where I plan to get an HR internship over the summer. I am still going through the entire system of applying and hopefully securing an internship at a couple of companies, and the main idea with HR is that every organisation needs an HR department, hence there are plenty opportunities for prospective candidates. Other summer plans are: going back home and enjoying the amazing beaches in Mamaia resort (http://studentblogs.warwick.ac.uk/lcc1/entry/summer_plans_updated/), working and updating my CV and experience, as well as improving my Russian. I will see what the future holds for me and my career, but what I can do for now is to return to revising and getting through to the final days of the 3rd term. I hope everyone gets all 1sts in the exams and are looking forward to their next year at Warwick (and my final year of uni).
