NSS: What it is and why you should complete it
The National Student Survey (NSS) is now open (until 30 April 2019).
You may have heard about it around campus, but what exactly is it?
The NSS is a high profile annual census of nearly half a million students across the UK.
It has been conducted every year since 2005, producing data that helps universities improve, and prospective students make informed decisions.
Only finalists are eligible to participate as you are asked about your entire experience of your course.
Ergh it will take me too long, I can’t be bothered.
It will take 5-10 minutes maximum! Plus you get £5 in your Eating at Warwick card for participating AND PAIS will donate £5 to Warwick Cancer Research for every student who participates. In addition to this, you get to help shape Warwick PAIS to make it, even more, better for prospective students.
The core questions ask about things like the teaching in PAIS, academic support and your overall student satisfaction.
You are also given the chance to write your open comments anonymously if you want to.
I want to take the survey now!
It is super easy and you will receive your £5 almost instantly so you can purchase an ice cream to enjoy the lovely sun (in February 😮 )
NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY CLAIM YOUR £5 CREDIT IF YOU COMPLETE IT ONLINE SO PLEASE DO IT EARLY TO AVOID MISSING OUT
Last year PAIS achieved 95% for overall satisfaction – making it the number 1 in the Russell Group which is absolutely amazing.
Because of the NSS, the PAIS Department have improved feedback for essays, introduced the DSEP role and of course, the famous coffee machine!
