The term is nearly over, and with the sun coming out if (like me)  you might be finding it can very hard to focus. Here are a few tips to help you focus and achieve till you get to the end of term.

1.Plan to do 3 things a day

Try and achieve 3 things a day. Rather than writing a never-ending to do list, plan 3 things to do. This could be watching a lecture, drafting an essay, reading a chapter or going for a walk. Don’t think about what you can’t do, think about 3 things you have already achieved.

2.Use your phone for timers not distractions

Set your phone to greyscale, try apps like Flora, Flow and Pomodoro timer, this will help you stay off your phone and to help time your study breaks.

3.Use your breaksDo 10 star jumps, grab a glass of water and an apple and go on a 5 min walk around the block to get some fresh air and sun. Try not to stay sitting down in your breaks, get up and moving.

4. Help

Don’t be afraid to ask for help and don’t forget to help others. Email your professors, use your course whatsapp group and ask your friends to support you. Call a classmate/friend and check whether they have achieved 3 things, hold them to it and ask them to hold you to it as well.

5.Have fun!

Plan fun things to do and look forward to the summer!

I hope these tips help you, good luck.
