Making the most of your Easter break
If you’re like me and you’re not doing as much as you should be this holiday, here are some tips to make your days as productive as possible in the most fun ways:
- Wake up early: even if you’re not a morning person, waking up in the mornings make it seem like there is so much time in the day, which means there’s more time to fill the day with productivity, and it will feel like you have your life together! It will also mean your sleeping pattern will revert back to normal.
- Keep your mind active: picking up a new/old hobby, or even just playing Sudoku in the newspaper everyday will make sure you don’t go braindead at any point in the holidays. It also might motivate you to study as you will feel accomplished after completing a puzzle. Last year, I started a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle and even though it almost took me an entire term to complete, it was really rewarding to finish it.
- Make sure your room/workspace is tidy every day: This one’s important. A messy room means a messy life, and a cluttered desk means a cluttered brain (not really, but it’s just not great for working to your maximum efficiency level). If you’re travelling back home for the holiday, it might make your room cleaner if you unpacked your clothes rather than living out of your suitcase for 5 weeks.
