Looking Forward to 2017
Second year is going so quickly; I can’t believe Term 2 is about to start! After a busy first term and a bit of break over the Christmas holidays, I’m ready to get back into the swing of uni life again with lots of exciting things to come this term…
This term I will be starting a few new modules, including a lot of core physics ones. These include Thermal Physics and Physics of Fluids which should be really interesting! I also start Stars, which is one of my optional modules. Previous readers of my blog will be aware of how much I love astrophysics, so this module is probably the one I am most looking forward to- I already have my designated astro note book!
I’m going to Maths Ball next weekend! It was such a nice evening last year (featuring snow!) and will be something to look forward to next week.
As the Show Coordinator for Warwick Tap, I have been involved in organising Pizazz, the largest dance showcase at the University of Warwick that brings together 13 different dance societies to raise money for CRASAC. It’s held on Sunday 19 February and I’m so excited for the show! Lots of hard work have been put into it already, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out- expect a blog post on Pizazz in the future!
It’s lovely to be able to escape the Warwick bubble and take advantage of what the surrounding area has to offer. Last term I went to see at the RSC in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to plan another trip for the end of term!
However, one of the things I love about Warwick is how diverse and unpredictable day to day life is, and as well as all of the things above I’m just looking forward to spending another 10 weeks here!
