Leave Nothing but Footprints, Take Nothing but Memories (and Pictures)
For many of you, University will be some of the best days of your life. That indeterminate time between the monotony of School and the stress of the 9-5.
But what about when it’s all over and done with? You’re probably going to want some memories to look back on, and what better prompt than photo’s you can flick through? So, without further ado, here are some ideas for photo’s you might want to take, to help prompt all the amazing memories you’re about to make…
All of your stuff packed and ready to move in on day 1
Baby Geese (You can find these by the bucket load in May down by the river at the bottom of campus)
Your flatmates (perhaps having a Christmas dinner?)
Your first meal (and possibly your last, depending how much better of a cook you’ve become)
Any activities you’ve taken part in (eg: tournaments, inflatable days, BBQ’s…)
Campus (It can get really pretty!)
You and friends in different parts of campus
Any kit or merchandise you buy (best when you’re wearing/using it)
These are just some of my ideas. The photo’s you take are up to you and depend both on what you do whilst here at Uni, and what you actually want to remember.
Another idea you may want to consider is taking part in “1 second everyday” to help you capture the best bits. This is where you film a second of footage everyday and out all that footage into a video of that time period.
Just remember to experience Uni through your own eyes, not just through the lens of a camera. Photo’s should be a memory prompt, not exactly what you saw every minute of your time here.
