Dear fellows,

It has been a while since my last blog. Sorry I was in the “head-down” zone finishing my last assignment and preparing for exams.

I have seen a lot of blogs about the end of term, end of exams, and party time…I have also seen a few blogs about cooking healthy and quick meals! How great and inspiring. Thanks for this. I am not a fan of cooking myself but find it easier when I have time. I generally cook easy and quick meals but healthy ones😊 What about you? Have you got recipes to share?

So, in the midst of finishing my exams and assignments, I managed to unwind a little bit and went to the FabFest on the 20th of May and it was FABULOUS! What an amazing building and space. During this day few events took place on the campus, but this was the official opening for the Faculty of Arts department in the Ramphal Building, opposite the Oculus and the Art Centre. There are plenty of study spaces inside. It contains, 5 main disciplines: classic and ancient history, English and literacy, School of Creative Arts, Performance and visual cultures, and School of modern languages & Cultures. I must say I did not expect the inside from the outside. Have a look…

It is truly the result of modern Architecture and Design Engineering. Very spacious and luminous. Everything to be a successful student and teacher.

• The Crystal MazeDrawing from the famous game show, we’re putting on a day of exciting challenges for your team of 3-6 people. Simply choose a 90-minute slot between 10am-7pm, on Saturday 11 June, and join us in the Oculus Field to try your luck.There will be a winning team from each time slot, and the prize is a 3-course meal voucher for each person in the team to use at Fusion. The overall winning team will not only have the vouchers but will get a Warwick t-shirt each!

• Inflatable DayHugely popular last year, maybe the sweatiest thing you can do on campus! 1000ft inflatable obstacle course is back and it’s coming to Westwood Campus on Tuesday 14 June, Wednesday 15 June, and Thursday 16 June from 12 pm-5 pm.
