It will save your life- the My Warwick app

When moving to Warwick you feel overloaded- what are you supposed to be doing? where should I be and how do I get there?

The My Warwick app can answer all your questions. It has a variety of features to make your life that little bit easier. The app can be downloaded off the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft store. The app will ask you to log in this can be done by entering you university number and password that you created when you registered. When entering the app it will provide you with information about what you are studying, your email and university number. Below this is your timetable where each subject gets assigned a different colour. Here it will tell you what room you need to be in and when, plus if you allow notifications it will text you 15 minutes before your seminar, lecture or meeting- this will save your life! You can also click on the room and the My Warwick app map section will direct you there- it is the Google Maps of Warwick.

Below the timetable section you will find a coursework section. When term truly begins it will update letting you know when your coursework is due- be careful as not all subjects put coursework on here- last year my practice law essays were not here so make sure you do not get caught out. Again by allowing notifications it will text you 1 week before it is due , 3 days then 1 day helping you keep up with your work. By scrolling down you will see Moodle here are some online learning and activities but this is dependant on you course.

Further down is Eating at Warwick section. This part of the app is fabulous as you can top up money onto your student card meaning you do not need to carry around cash. It is super easy to do and also ensures that you get 10% off in SU outlet such as Fusion, Curiositea, the Copper Rooms making a night out much easier.

The app enables you to see what you have borrowed from the library when these items are due and quickly renew them. Its Sports function allow you to book sport-events, courts or see what classes you have booked to attend.

The app can also help you out with lots of other things such as printing, what is going on around campus, when the next bus is, weather on campus, booking a work area, shuttle bus timetable, where free study spaces are available plus you are able to book a work place.

With all these great feature downloading the My Warwick app definitely will save your life.
