Go Green Week 2018
Week 10 is Go Green Week 2018 !
It is a collaboration between University of Warwick, University of Coventry, Coventry City Council, CoventryCAN and many others.
I have always been proud of the way our SU promotes green-thinking and sustainability. From recycling, to ethically sourced tea and coffee, the Warwick SU is constantly promoting and bio, green, and eco-friendly environment.
This week you will see all the food outlets on campus offering a series of specials to celebrate green week! This is your opportunity to learn and understand your impact to the world. Small day-to-day choices can make a positive difference.
Waste Not Wednesday 14.03.2018
From 14:00 to 17:00, you can join, on the piazza, a workshop with the aim to increase awareness on cup waste on campus. This workshop, besides being a good lesson on environment-friendly behaviour, will also offer fun activities. From making cut-out cup tea lights, to cup sculptures (during which you will also be able to donate to a small local charity), you will fight waste on campus in an active and fun way.
Email d.m.Chapman@warwick.ac.uk to join SusieCleverly from the SU at 15:00-16:00 in a talk that teaches you how to form a career in sustainability jobs.
This is your chance to join a one time volunteering programming. Go on https://warwick.ac.uk/about/community/volunteers/volunteering/oneoffvolunteering to sign up and do something positive with your day !

If you are wondering what Warwick is doing to improve its effects on the local environments, and want to learn more about sustainability in Warwick, join a guided tour between 12:00 and 14:00. The meeting point is under the library bridge. Please contact email@example.com to book this guided walk.
Sustainable Saturday 17.03.2018
Easter holidays are coming up and instead of throwing away the food you cannot keep over the holidays, donate the food to local food banks and other items to the British Hear Foundation boxes across campus. If you want to volunteer, once again, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Let us try to keep our campus clean and green. Little choices and actions, go a long way!
