It’s summer! My first year has ended and with it, a weird feeling. Despite this year going by in the blink of an eye, it feels like I’ve known my friends and flat mates forever – weird one.
Results came in last week and I got a 2.1 in my first year with an average score of 67%! Which I’m very happy with given how much other stuff has been going on this year.
Overall, I have to say, my first year at Warwick has been great.
To give you a brief business update – we’re planning to launch Jropp in late July. We’ve had some amazing feedback about the platform and I’ve enjoyed building the brand to what it is today (including a little Q&A I did for Recruitment GV: http://www.recruitmentgrapevine.com/article/2016-07-04-qanda-with-marketing-director-of-jroppjobs Overall the current status on the business scene for me is ‘fun but stressful’.
On the uni front, having sorted out our house for next year a while ago we underwent our incredibly fair way of allocating rooms – we each were allocated a number between 1 and 5 and then used a random number generator to determine who got to pick first. I got the largest room – so I’m happy 🙂
Looking forward to next year, largely because it’ll be good to see everyone again, I’ve been able to choose most of my modules which I’m excited about, and I’ve got the biggest room!
I’ll continue blogging over summer – hope you have a good one!
