End of Exams 🎉

Three terms, countless lectures and seminars, and four long exams later – Year Two is done!
Exam season was understandably very different this year. Studying for online, open-book, 24 hour exams is a very different process to studying for typical exams because the whole stress of memorising content is gone. In its place, however, is the fear that you have to go above and beyond to get even an average grade, since everyone has access to the content so presumably can do well.
However, these exams did actually go okay as far as I can tell! For the most part, I liked the questions that we were set and felt confident with my answers. If I had to rate the exams based on how much I enjoyed them –
Criminal Evidence – 8/10
Medicine & Law – 10/10
Contract Law – 7/10
Constitutional and Administrative Law – 9/10
So exam season is over and now all that’s left to do is wait for results! Summer is truly upon us & I’m making a list of plans! I will be spending my time with family & friends, working, gaining legal experience, sending out applications for more legal experience, and taking a much needed break from studying until third year commences in October! I’m also moving into a new flat next year, so I’ll be spending time hanging up my fairy lights and pinning up my ever-growing collage of photos.
I hope exam season went well for everyone else & your plans for summer are shaping up nicely. Fingers crossed that COVID restrictions will allow us to see our friends and have lots of cocktails in the sun!
