  1. A trip to Birmingham– we live so near to Birmingham why not go for the day. As a flat, we went to Birmingham on Wednesday to do some shopping in the Bullring Shopping centre and to the worlds biggest Primark. It was great to escape campus life for the day and with most shops, they offer a discount so make sure to ask at the checkout. In Birmingham they also have lots of different restaurants; we went to Bills- they give 20% off. A train ticket (return) Birmingham is £6.10

  1. Warwick castle– you can get a bus from Campus to Warwick and then another one to the castle. This activity reasonably priced as you can buy a student ticket for £9.50 then dungeons are another £5. https://www.warwick-castle.com/ There are loads of shows, talks and tours so something for everyone.

  1. Stratford upon Avon– it is easy to get to Stratford upon Avon and there is so much to do. It is a beautiful quintessential market town. For those studying English literature or drama, it is perfect. You can visit Shakespeare’s house, have a ride on the Avon or enjoy afternoon tea. I would highly recommend the guided walking tour. For more information see the link: https://www.visitstratforduponavon.co.uk/visiting

  1. Ghetto Golf in Birmingham- “a combination of a seriously twisted 18 hole mini golf experience, with an exceptional cocktail bar”- it is a fun adult twist on the traditional crazy golf. The price is £10 per person. Ghetto golf is an “art-infused environment that showcases the very best street art and their writers”.

  1. Kenilworth Castle– is a beautiful castle from Tudor times and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are lots of cute cafes as well making it a great relaxed day out.

  1. Odeon Cinema– in non-peak times tickets for students are £5 and on Tuesday and Wednesday, you can use Meerkat movies meaning tickets are 2 for 1 making the trip even cheaper. As a flat, we visit at least once a month. This month we have been to see Rocketman a film about Elton Johns rise to fame. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Men in black and would recommend you went to see it no matter your interest we all thought it was a great movie.

  2. Escape room– in Coventry there is a choice of three rooms: Armageddon, Casino Heist and Prison Break. https://www.escapelive.co.uk/locations/coventry/ these are great for friendship groups or a last outing with the flat before the long summer. Prices range from £15-£17.50
