Happy Easter everyone! There has been lots of chocolate eaten in our house, and I’m sure if you have little ones too there has been in yours. To be fair it doesn’t matter how old we are, we all still want someone to get us an Easter egg, don’t we? (Someone remind my husband to buy me one next year!)
I’ve had a lovely weekend off from studying, it was Faiths Birthday on Good Friday, so we had a very busy day partying. I can’t believe she’s 3, I started this degree when she was 6 months old. The time has flown by. Luckily she had a great day and enjoyed all the Frozen toys she got, oh and the Play Doh! However, the studying commences again! Every student I know seems to be busy writing essays or preparing presentations for when we go back. This time of year is crazy, so much to do and it never seems like there are enough hours in the day!
I made the biggest mistake ever the other day. I’d got a draft essay completed and thought I’d leave it for a few days before going over it and checking that all was ok. I read though it sort out a few errors and then just before going to submit it I realised I’d got the word count wrong! I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry or panic. I had to write another 1000 words before submitting what I thought was ready to submit. I guess the only lucky thing was that I hadn’t already pressed the submit button. A word of warning to all…… Always make sure you know exactly how many words you have to write. So today Faith is in nursery, although she’s not supposed to but I’ve got to try and find another 1000 words so that I can submit the essay before starting the next one. With that I panic, wish me luck!
