Hello Everyone,

So today is the 15 and here we are, 10 days to Christmas day or 9 days to Christmas eve…. Does any of you are already on holiday? Personally, I am, and I will hopefully enjoy them although I am not travelling for this Christmas. However, a few of my friends managed to book a ticket to celebrate with their families this year. What about you?

So now that term 1 is already over why not take the opportunity to wind down until the new year and transition onto the new term…I hope to take some time for my assignments too, so I don’t have to rush them next year. I am planning on walking or trekking and if so, I would love to share some pictures in due course. Also, check your student apps like “Save the student” or Unidays that offer some discounts, especially if you have more shopping to do. I know the campus offers a few activities and events this month as well as the Art Centre and why not take advantage if you can?! It is always good to be happy and mindful. I went for the Christmas lights on the campus early this month whilst getting my lanyard and class rep mug 😊. Yes, I am very proud of those and a nice feeling to be rewarded! I am proud to be a Warwick Uni student!

On another subject, I had the pleasure to celebrate my son’s 16 birthday yesterday! OMG 16! 😊 Time flies…well to make you laugh, since I am not the best cook, I have asked my friends who run a nice restaurant/take away English and African food, to prepare a nice hot and big meal for him! Well, I did pay for the meal though, but they offered my son a nice Hibiscus homemade juice, very healthy. Also, at 16 your teens don’t find fun to go out with their parents especially to a restaurant! Anyways, he was happy even if some of our friends stayed on our doorstep being mindful of Covid…I gave them some cake (that I was going to bake but ended up buying!) haha. I think that for 2022 I might sign up for cooking lessons! If you have any tips on these please let me know, especially easy and healthy dishes!  😊 I do cook a nice “spag bol” or meatballs though and I can press some oranges for fresh juice in the morning! Oh yes, I can do pancakes also and my favourites are with a dark chocolate sauce yum yum … Well now I am getting quite hungry and I wish you a very nice evening and enjoy the festive meals that pubs and supermarkets offer. Check out for the food trucks on the campus also, should you and or your family enjoy a nice walk around 😊
