If you were going to recommend a practical experiment young girls could do at home which would introduce them to science which we could put on our website https://www.hysterical-herstories.com/ what would it be? If we can use it we will credit you with the contribution and link to your blog if you are interested.

I went to Warwick many moons past!

I definitely think a fun one was always seeing and understanding the chemical reaction between backing soda and vinegar. It’s a little messy, but always fun! Also, a cool way to show growth of an organism is to take a piece of bread and a piece of toast, then place them in separate sealed baggies to monitor mould growth. One of my lecturers did this, and it was really amusing but also interesting to see the differences. Having young girls write down all of their findings and what they see is a great way to keep them engaged and curious! Hope this helps!
