Lukasz Kolodziej
Philosophy, Politics and Economics
Hi there! My name is Lukasz Kolodziej and I am a penultimate-year student of Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I’m on a bipartite pathway with Politics and Economics major.
Why PPE? In the current world it is important to have your own opinion on things surrounding you. To do better, we must do differently – and this is what PPE and Warwick want you to do, this is why PPE was a natural choice, which turned out to be the best decision I have made in my life so far.
Outside my studies, I am involved with the Student-Staff Liaison Committee where I try to represent the PPE students’ voice to make things better for all of us. I organised the Warwick Economics Summit in 2016, which was an incredible experience. Playing football in the intramural league on Sunday evenings is another thing I do at Warwick.
I also spent an integrated year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where aside studying hard among the cleverest students of the U.S.A. I got a chance to enjoy perfect weather throughout the whole year, attend big sports events such as basketball and American football games, and witness the presidential elections.
I’m also a fan of extreme sports, particularly chess.
