Philosophy, Politics and Economics

Hi!

I’m Doyin and I’m a PPE student in my final year. I have a lot of different academic interests, and I believe that one of the best things about my degree is how much variety it offers; my time at Warwick has allowed me to study a wide range of modules – from Philosophy of Religion to Capitalism & Its Alternatives to Development Macroeconomics – which have helped me better understand the world around me.

I’ve also explored my interests outside of my degree via the societies I’ve gotten involved in. Last year I was President of Women for Women International Warwick – a society which aids the economic empowerment of women survivors of war living in conflict and post-conflict zones, and this year I’m going to be a member of the Logistics Team for the Warwick Africa Summit – a two-day event which aims to celebrate the continent’s future and discuss solutions to the challenges it is currently facing.

My blog will focus on my experiences as my (very enjoyable) time at Warwick is drawing to a close, and I try to balance degree, extra-curricular responsibilities, career-planning, friends and fun, all while still getting enough hours of sleep!

Hope you enjoy reading!
